Affiliate marketing simply means, selling someone else product and then getting commission from it.

Affiliate marketing is a very good business and it is easy to start. With just 2 hours of work a day; I can assure you that you will be making $1000 every month on the average.

To begin affiliate marketing and start making money online, you need to take the following steps:

1. The first thing to do is to pick a product and sell. Yes don’t just pick a product. But pick the one that is already selling. The most widely used affiliate programs for blogs are clickbank, Amazon, Ebay and Commission Junction.

2. Once you have selected a product like that to target the best thing will be for you to set-up a blog or website. Go to namecheap.com or any other domain name registrar and register a domain name that matches your niche product. A.com is preferable.

3. Buy hosting spaces from hostgator or any other host provider.

4. Install wordpress on your domain and install a good theme. Next install these plug-ins;

5. Write at least five original articles of 500 words each. Next, post those articles on your blog. First make sure they go on your blog.

6. Once you have posted the articles on your blog/site, submit the website to social book-marking websites so that Google can index and recognize their back-links. Use these free social sites to make the process easy. Socialmonkee.com or socialadr.com. They let you submit a brief summary of your new article (and its individual URL) to 50 different social bookmark sites in less than a minute. Do this for every new piece of content you bullish on the blog.

7. Go search for e-zine publishers on the topic of your niche. Simply do a search on google.com for the niche. For example computer “newsletter”. Don’t forget the “plus” (+) sign pleases.

Look at the results Google gives you. Search through the sites and look for their ‘contact us’ page. Get their contact information, especially name and email and the title of the newsletter.

Nest, contact them that you’d like to submit article to their newsletter for their subscriber to enjoy and introduce yourself, stating your name, and your website. Don’t forget the title of your article.

You will be surprised how many ‘yes’ response you’ll get. The write a quick new article and send it to the owner of the newsletter to publish. The article should have a strong call-to-action at the asking people to visit your website.

8. Once the article is indexed on your site (check it by doing a Google search for an exact sentence for your article and see your comes up in the search results) then submit the article to the following article directories. Ezinearticles.com, articlebase.com, goarticles.com, articlealley.com and articledashboard.com.

9. Submit your blog article URL to various related blog carnivals, to drive high quality target traffic and back-links back to your site.

To find these various Blog carnivals and see active ones in your niche, go to blogcarnivals.com and run a search for your sites main keyword. It’s 100% free, and there are no limits to the amount of submissions.

10. Find sites that are acceptable for whatever articles and niche you’re creating content for; simple do a Google search using the following phrases: main keyword + “submit” “mainkeyword” + article submission” “main keyword” + “author submission”.

Once you get search results, go to the sites themselves and try to find contact emails/areas to reach the owners.

11. Write an article titled: How to use the (niche) you are promoting and submit it to tutorial sites. Post it to the following tutorial sites: instructables.com, wikihow.com, ehow.com and howttodothings.com.

At the end of the tutorial use a typical resource box that links back to your affiliate offer directly on that topic.

13. Create videos using power-point.

14. Use document-sharing sites to get people to virtually spread your articles to millions of their friends and family. It only takes you a few minutes.
